Over The Bridge
For Training in Complex Mental Health
Bridging research and practice through training, supervision, and consultation in complex mental health
Who We Are
Over The Bridge was founded by A/Prof Georgie Paulik-White, Clinical Psychologist, researcher, and educator, with the aim of helping mental health professionals develop greater confidence and competence in working with complex mental health presentations.
Many clinicians receive limited training in areas such as psychosis, voice hearing, dissociation, complex trauma, suicidal experiences, and intrusive mental imagery, despite regularly encountering these difficulties in clinical practice. As a result, therapists can be left feeling uncertain about how to formulate, engage, and intervene effectively when working with complexity.
Over The Bridge provides practical, evidence-informed training, supervision, and consultation that aims to bridge the gap between research and real-world clinical practice. Drawing on both contemporary research and extensive clinical experience, our training focuses on helping clinicians translate theory into meaningful therapeutic conversations and interventions that can be applied immediately with clients.
Whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of psychosis and voice hearing, develop skills in imagery-focused interventions such as Imagery Rescripting, strengthen your work with trauma and dissociation, or build confidence working with presentations that fall outside traditional diagnostic boundaries, Over The Bridge aims to provide a place for learning, curiosity, and clinical growth.
